| Norman Reedus was going to yet another convention in yet another minor city that had somehow become a state capital. He was getting a little bit tired of them to be honest considering most fans asked the same damned questions. But then again they were usually rather fun to be in as some of the fans were funny and some of the other pannelists were fun to hang around with too.
For some reason he was sitting on a panel with only one of his Walking Dead co-stars and none of his Boondock Saints co-stars either. The organisers had instead set him up on a panel with Karl Urban, a guy he'd never spoken to before, and the ever annoying Jon Berthnal to be sat next to him.
Sitting down in his place as some of the fans were already beginning to trickle in, Norman glanced at Jon and raised an eyebrow. The guy was pale and sweaty for some reason and looked like he hadn't slept in a week,
"Hey... you alright there buddy?" he asked, getting a questioning grunt in response, "You look like hell man..."
Another grunt of a reply. Norman shrugged a little bit and turned to the fans, noting that quite a lot of them seemed the same way. He hoped he wasn't going to catch it, he was set to film Boondock Saints 3 in a couple of weeks after all.

| Karl had absolutely loathed being at his first convention after he had been in the Star Trek movie. Even now, after several conventions, he was cursing his agent for agreeing to send him to another of these things. Even though he was on his way to a panel, specifically to answer questions, he was being hounded by dozens of Trekkies who were already yammering at him to tell them what it was like to act as the guy and blah blah blood blah. He wasn't American so he didn't really see the fascination with the whole thing.
Arriving at the panel, he blinked a few times to see that his fellow members of the panel were both from The Walking dead. Not exactly Sci-Fi like he was apparently. Sitting down, he offered his hand to John Berthanal,
"Nice to meet you." he greeted the man, getting only a grunt in reply. He rolled his eyes, "Okay... asshole."
Reaching over Jon, he shook hands with Norman Reedus who just gave him a friendly smile instead of speaking. Deciding to get this trainwreck on the road, he tapped the microphone,
"Er yeah I think we're ready to begin." he told the audience, "So yeah... put your hands up and we'll call on you."

| Lolita had been looking forward to this convention for a long long time, all of her favourite people were going to be there, she had even travelled out all the way from Britain to come to this date, the only one she had been able to get time off work to come and see. Although she was a little dissappointed that Michael Rooker wasn't there, but with Normal Reedus and Karl Urban on the same panel...she couldn't miss that, even if it did clash with the signing of some of her manga books.
Making her way to the room where the panel was being held, she took a seat near the front of the room, and waited for the panel to begin, she was really really early, she had been because she wanted to get a good seat.
As the room filled up she was rather disgusted to see that she was sitting next to someone who was looking rather ill, of course, she would have tried to have come even if she was ill herself but this guy looked awful, he looked like he was having the flu, or dying. Lolita just hoped that she wasn't going to catch whatever it was that he had, at least he had the decency to keep himself out of her personal space.
When the panel began, she blushed softly, she wanted to ask a question...but she was simply too nervous to, to shy, especially when it meant speaking to one of her celebrity crushes.
Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear she merely looked around at the others who put their hands up and wondered what questions they were going to ask, all the while inching away from the man who was hacking his guts up next to her, a faint expression of disgust plastered on her face.

| The panel was going exactly as they always did for Norman; slowly. No one had come up with an original question, though there had been a request to hear both his Irish and his Daryl voices, which he had complied with. He could have sworn he saw some of the women swoon a little bit but then again quite a lot of them were ill with whatever Jon had and the hat-wearing actor wasn't fairing too good,
"In answer to your question..." he spoke to the fan, who was one of the sick ones and had barely managed to make the question heard, "Yes I do know how to operate a crossbow. I had to learn it for the show as quite a lot of the shots you see me firing are actually me firing. So yeah, next question please."
Sitting back, he cast a glance over at Karl Urban. Poor guy looked bored out of his mind. Mostly because the fans seemed determined to talk about the Walking Dead and nothing else. The one question he'd been asked had involved how he thought the Star Trek universe would handle zombies. What the heck kinda question was that anyway?
It took Norman a moment to realise that a fan was getting aggitated. He noticed it was because he was asking Jon a question but his co-star was completely ignoring the fan. Annoyed, Norman shook the man by the shoulder,
"Hey Jon we're here to do a panel so..." he trailed off when Jon's head lolled around before he fixed Norman with a vacant stare and a moan. Norman had to jump out of his chair when Jon lurched at him, trying to bite him, "Jesus! What the fuck is your problem man?!"
Looking out at the fans for the security guards, his eyes widened when he noticed that some of the fans who had been sick were following Jon's example and trying to take bites out of people. This was freaking nuts!

| Lolita had been giggling a little bit, Karl looked so bored and she raised her hand, she was going to ask the poor guy a question he looked like he was going to go off and commit in a corner if he didn't hear something that wasn't related to zombies in the next five minutes or so, she sat patiently with her hand raised, the guy who had just asked the question to Jon was the one sitting next to her and she tilted her head to one side, he really didn't sound so good.
Blinking when she heard a commotion at the front she let her mouth pop open as Jon tried to take a chunk out of Norman, then she grinned, it was so obviously a stunt to promote the walking dead, turning Jon into a zombie how priceless!
But he didn't seem to be stopping...he kept going at Norman and she frowned softly wondering if someone was going to help him! It looked like he really did need help and there weren't any guards to be seen, maybe they were somewhere else having their break?
Her thoughts were interrupted by a long gutteral moan from beside her and she turned to see the man who was sitting beside her, looking like completely dead...popping her mouth open when she saw just how clouded over his eyes were, and how vacant his expression, Lolita squeaked a little bit and scrambled off her chair as the man lunged at her too.
"H-hey what's going on?" she asked, "If this is some sort of stunt this isn't funny!"
When she began to see the other fans having the same problem, and some actually being attacked by the sick people she gasped, one fan was screaming on the floor, having been bitten in the neck viciously, backing up towards the barrier in front of the panel she bumped into it as the sick man stumbled slowly out of the seats, following her.
"Shit." Lolita gasped.

| Now Karl could officially say that he hated anything and everything to do with zombies. He'd hated them ever since he first watched a zombie movie when he was about 12. They were just... just so bad! None of the plot-lines were believable even in the slightest and that wasn't even the worst thing. The characters became either saints or assholes too and it was just something he thought lazy writers did to get free money. But he'd been sat here for almost an hour now, listening to people talking almost exclusively about a genre of film he loathed and despised.
Sighing a little bit, he perked up a little bit when Jon seemed to completely ignore one of the fans who was asking him a question. Fair enough the fan was annoying, his question insipid, but surely he should at least be acknowledged?
And that was when the shit hit the fan it seemed.
Jon was lunging after Norman, trying to freaking EAT HIM. Honestly if this was some kind of stunt to improve the tv show's popularity he was going to freaking murder people in this room. But he could tell that Norman was genuinely concerned for his well being when Jon lunged again. Deciding that if this was a joke he'd rather pay for it later than risk it not being a joke, he grabbed hold of the back of Jon's shirt and yanked him away from Norman, throwing him to the side with a grunt.
Jon reeled back from the throw and tripped on a fan who was currently biting the leg of another fan. The result was that Jon's head smashed against the hard concrete floor and split open. His body lay completely still. He helped Norman up before realizing that a woman from the front row was being pursued by one of the fans who was attempting to eat people. Grabbing her hand, he pulled her away from the diseased fan,
"Hey are you alright?" he asked her even as he kicked the fan in the gut to push him away, "We need to get the fuck out of here Norman... you too... what's your name?"

| Lolita was getting more than a little bit concerned right now and there wasn't anywhere else she could go her back was against the wall of the stage and she blinked at the man who was stumbling towards her, she tried to stay still, tried not to aggrivate him, however it didn't seem to be working and he still followed her, grunting and groaning as he did so.
Holy shit this wasn't just a stunt was it? This was actually happening...
When she felt herself being grabbed she screamed sharply, until she turned and saw that it was Karl who was grabbing her and her cheeks exploded in a fantastic pink blush. Karl. Urban. Was. Touching. Her! Trying to stop her fangirl moment she twirled away from the fan when he kicked him in the chest and joined the two men on the panel, she couldn't believe this was happening and she tried to resist the urge to throw up at the screams, the blood and the gore spraying around the room.
"Thank you." she whispered softly "Y-yes I'm fine. Oh...oh my god what the fuck?" Lolita asked, running her hands through her hair as she saw the extent of the carnage and cannibalism in front of her "Oh uhm, my names Lolita." she introduced herself with her bewildered expression still on her face.
Looking around she saw that there was a fire escape not too far away and she knew it would probably be their best chance of getting out of here;
"There's a fire escape behind this curtain, we can get out that way right?"

| Norman was very grateful to Karl for dragging Jon off of him like that and he had to admit that this entire experience was getting way too close to being like working on the set of the Walking Dead. When he took the scene of all the cannibalism and all the panic he groaned a little bit. Jesus Christ these people were actually zombies! Either that or they'd all taken that 'bath salts' drug and gone insane at exactly the same time.
And somehow zombies became the most reasonable explanation.
Seeing that Karl had just saved one of the fans from being eaten by another fan, he was glad that he was standing around someone with some compassion. A lot of other actors would have just screamed and run away by now. His eyes widened and he dash forwards as a diseased man crawling on the floor tried to take a bit out of Karl's ankle. Norman beat it to the mark however and kicked down at the man's head.
There was a wet sound as he broke the man's skull easily beneath his foot. Fighting back the urge to be sick from having just curb stomped someone's head clean in, Norman began to herd both Karl and Lolita towards the fire exit,
"Yeah there is... come on!" he urged them, throwing the curtain aside to reveal the fire door. Opening it, Norman swore when the fire alarm began to go off. If the zombies were anything like their fictional counter parts they would be driven to the convention centre now that it had it's alarms blaring, "Come on! I've got my bike round the corner!"
He never trusted people with his bike so he always hide it in the back alleyway of whatever convention hall he was at and locked it up tightly. Seeing that Karl was following him with Lolita, Norman was glad that he had a harley. The bike was big enough for three people to ride it for a very short ride. And he was planning on getting to somewhere safe quick.

| Lolita squeaked a little bit and was going to go and kick the zombie who was going to take a chunk out of Karls leg, but Norman beat her to it and she found herself having to take a few deep breaths to stp herself from hurling right where she stood, there were bits of brain everywhere and she had no idea how to handle all of this, it seemed that neither did the other men standing beside her.
If any proof was further needed that this was not a stunt, their expressions were it.
Without needing much prompting she ran towards the fire exit and cringed when it began to make such a loud noise, she was glad she had managed to grab her bag before she had moved from her seat, she didn't know if she would have wanted to risk going back for it now, and it had everything that she owned now left in it, it wasn;t likely she'd be going back to her hotel any time soon.
"Are we all going to fit on the bike?" she asked loudly as they pounded their feet through the fire escape tunnel "Oh god I hope so..." Lolita gasped as she heard some scraping, those things were trying to open the fire escape and follow them!
Bursting out into the sunny alleyway she looked around desperately, she spotted the bike and ran to it, they would all fit, just...but they needed to move fast, the noise seemed to be drawing more and more attention to the comic center, and even now she was seeing how wide spread this was, people were running from all of the exits, it wasn't just one room it was everywhere.
"Holy shit..." she whispered "Hurry up Mr, Reedus get the bike started and on the move!"
As soon as Norman was on she clambered into the middle, so Karl could get on the end, hugging her arms around Norman's chest, she was ready to leave.

| Karl was extremely glad that Norman had managed to return the favor and keep him from losing a chunk of his foot to some diseased cannibal. Nodding gratefully to Norman, he tried very hard not to look at what he knew Norman had done to save him from becoming a human happy meal. Kicking in someone's head was not something he thought he needed to see in his life and he could tell that Lolita was quickly regretting the decision to look at it so he tugged her away from it,
"Come on Lolita..." he urged her, "You don't have to see that. Let's just get the hell out of here..."
When the alarm started blaring he swore a little bit but otherwise the only reaction was for him to speed up, helping Lolita behind him by holding her hand. Bursting out into the alleyway behind the convention center he blinked a little bit,
"A motorbike? We're all getting on a motorbike?" he questioned, "Surely we won't all fit on the bike?"
A loud crashing noise, followed by angry screams and groans, came from just behind the door they had just left the building through. This helped Karl make up his mind. Jumping onto the bike, he had just enough time to wrap his arms around Lolita before Norman gunned it. It was a good thing he did as well as one diseased woman had been only inches away from grabbing him off the bike.
As they drove through the city, Karl was very surprised to find that it had not been confined to the convention center. It was everywhere. There was panic and chaos on the streets as the diseased dragged people down to eat them alive. Tightening his grip on Lolita he almost fell off the bike when Norman stopped it in front of a set of apartments. Apparently Norman visited this place often enough to decide to rent out a holiday flat for however long he was staying. They all dismounted the bike cautiously, not seeing anyone around,
"So..." he whispered, "You two know more about... zombies... what should we do?"

| Lolita screamed sharply when a zombie woman almost grabbed Karl off the bike and she gripped his arms tighter so that he wouldn't fall off the bike as Norman started it suddenly, biting her lip she buried her head in Norman's back, she didn't want to see what was going along the road, it seemed to have spread everywhere this thing, there was no escaping it...
Everywhere around her all she heard were screams...screams of pain as people were ripped apart and killed by these ravenous freaks. There was no way this was happening, no way at all, it was all some sort of crazy dreams, she wanted to be able to go home, forget all this had happened and pin it down to some sort of food poisoning that she had gotten from a bad McDonalds.
As soon as they stopped in front of the apartments, she clambered off the bike and gingerly held her hands in a loose grip in front of her, not wanting to put them down by her sides;
"I don't really think this is the same thing..." she whispered softly "But I suppose getting inside and barricading the shit out of the apartment isn't a bad idea...what do you think?" Lolita asked, she was a bunch of nerves and she felt very bare walking around without anything to protect herself with.
If she didn't have more self dignity she would have been clinging to Karl's arm and attempting to walk inbetween him and Norman so she didn't get attacked. But she had to be brave, she couldn't allow herself to seem so pathetic, she needed to be show her crushes she could handle herself, women power....and all that sort of thing.
"When we're inside..." Lolita whispered, walking softly towards the door of the apartment "We should get ourselves weapons and...well sort ourselves out. Does anyone else live here, if so they might be...well like them."

| Norman really really didn't like where this shit was going.
Even as the world blurred a little bit due to the speed of his bike, he could see what was going on. Hell the sounds were enough to let your imagination fill in the gaps. And the sights themselves were just awful. There was no end to the carnage and the utterly horrifying thing was that this was real, this wasn't a movie and the death happening around them wasn't the result of shitty CGI, it was all real.
When he parked up he worked on automatic as Karl and Lolita discussed what the hell they were going to do. Locking his bike up against a lampost with four separate locks, Norman fell out of the comfort zone of locking his bike up. Taking a deep breath, he let it out slowly,
"I don't know what this is but honestly? Looks like a Romero film to me..." he muttered to himself as he fished his keys out from his pocket and led them into the lobby. It was, like always, totally empty and they were uninterrupted in their route to the lifts, "We treat it like they are zombies... even if you don't turn into one of them if they bite you, a bite that bad will probably kill you. So we need to avoid or kill them... jesus that's hard to say in real life..."
Pressing the button to call the lift, Norman rested his forhead against the cool, smooth, surface of the wall beside the lift,
"There shouldn't be many people here." he told her quietly, "These are holiday apartments. I rent them because I do this circuit so often for conventions that I got sick of hotel rooms."
The lift didn't seem to want to respond however and Norman pushed himself away from the wall to begin the long walk up the stairs to the sixth floor,
"Elevator isn't working apparently..." he muttered, "Come on. My flat is on the sixth floor. We can... collapse and panic there."

| Lolita nodded her head, she thought that what Norman was saying made great sense to her, in all the zombie films after being bitten someone died in one way or another, and so it would be a great general rule to just try and stay clear of them altogether. Biting her lip she tilted her head to one side as she wandered with him into the lobby of the apartment block, it was quite nice in here, somewhere she would have liked to have afforded to stay.
"I know what you mean." she stated with a small, rather bewildered smile "Although I agree with you, staying well clear of these things is a good rule of thumb, until we've got everything sorted, I dont think we should even be trying to get anywhere in a hurry."
Waiting patiently for the lift to come she looked around restlessly, she wasn't going to relax until she was somewhere where the door was locked and she knew she was definately safe and secure, here was not somewhere this was going to happen and so she merely waited. When the lift didn't come she sighed softly, more likelyhood of them running into one of those things now...
"Alright." Lolita whispered quietly, beginning to climb the stairs, hopefully they were not massive gaps between the floors, it would make the journey even more exhausting "At least we're nice and high up, if we were on the ground floor we might have been in trouble."
Her body was pumped with adrenaline, and only now did she stop to take in the fact she was in the zombie apocalypse with two of her favourite actors of all time, not only this but, she was going to be staying with them for as long as this took to all be over, which looked to at least be a few days. Maybe they could even get each others facebooks?
Trudging up the stairs in her doc martens, she was aware she was wearing quite a short tight skirt, and Karl was attempting to walk up the stairs behind her; "Uhm...sorry." Lolita offered meekly, and tried to pull it down a little bit more.

| Karl was glad that the motorbike ride was over, the entire ride he had been clinging on for dear life to the British girl. He sighed a little bit in relief when they entered the lobby. When they spoke about avoiding the creatures, whether they could infect them or not, he nodded in agreement,
"Yeah and I think we learnt today that noise is a bad thing." he suggested with a little shudder, "Just the revving of the bike almost got me yanked off back in the alleyway."
He had been a lot happier with the stairs over the lift anyway. Honestly there was just something about being in a tiny metal box with doors that opened without your control that just screamed to him that it was a bad idea. Not to mention they tended to be louder than footsteps. Not by too much but by enough that it was noticeable and he had no desire to be presented to some creatures like a microwave dinner.
As they were walking up the stairs he took the time to close and lock the door at the bottom. It might help keep some of those dangerous people out. Now walking up at the back of the pack he couldn't help but see some of Lolita's panties when she was walking. He blushed a little bit as she tried to pull the skirt down. Honestly he had enjoyed the little flash of black lace but he had to push down those thoughts. Being horny and flirty right now might get himself eaten alive after all.

| Lolita caught Karls blush and she smiled softly she was glad that she was able to make him blush and to be honest she could tick off one thing in her fangirl book, she had shown one of them her panties and they hadn't run away screaming or called security, so, it was a good thing in her book, he looked like he had even enjoyed it a little bit.
Of course...she shouldn't even be thinking like that right about now, she had so many other things to get her head around, she didn't need to be worrying about whether she looked attractive despite all the zombie grime or something like that. To be honest it sounded like something she was going to do in the course of this events, doubtless, she was going to have to kill someone, or something, however you looked at them. Lolita hated the idea, but, she was certain they weren't alive.
Approaching the sixth floor, mercifully without having any sort of incident, she was slightly out of breath and panted softly as she rested, waiting for Norman to open the door to his apartment. His was the only one on this floor wasn't it?
As she took a small look around she smiled softly, it was definately a nice place, but she could hear commotion outside, not in the building, but, she heard screams and the sounds of cars crashing into each other. All of which made her want to get inside even more.

| Norman could hear some of what was going on outside even in the stairwell and it was enough to make him sick that was for damn sure. He winced a little bit when a particularly loud scream for help but cut short in mid-word. He dreaded to think what had caused that. He glanced back at his companions in time to see Karl looking up Lolita's skirt by accident and blushing when he got caught. Although he found it rather amusing, Norman would make sure to laugh about it when they were safely inside,
"Might want to keep your fun and games until we're certain we won't get 'extra participants'." he joked with them as he approached the door, "Thank jesus... this is us guys. There's no one else on this floor so you're in safe hands here."
Unlocking the door, Norman flicked on the lights and ushered them both inside. Once they were both inside the nice holiday flat he closed the door. He locked it at the handle, then with a chain and then with a deadbolt. Apparently people liked to feel safe in their holiday flats and right now he was very glad for that feature,
"Right... door is locked. They're out there... we're in here." he told them both before moving into the living room. He forcibly closed the curtains that over looked the city, "I hope you don't mind guys... but I don't want to see that kind of stuff..."
Moving into the kitchen, he picked out three bottles of beer and gave each of his guests one before he proceeded to almost down his within a few seconds. He paused for a moment, looking at the bottle,
"So..." he chuckled weakly, "That was the worst panel I've ever been on."

| Lolita knew that Norman had seen Karl looking up her skirt and she smiled shyly, now Karl was going to get teased about it seeing as he was being the pervert, even if she might have worn the skirt to get their attention while she was at the panel. Although she never thought that they would be walking up stairs behind her, and it was not a very good skirt for concealing her modesty....or for being in the zombie apocalypse in when she thought about it.
Swiftly she wandered into the apartment and stood in the middle, watching the door getting closed and committing the vision to memory, she wanted to make sure she didn't worry about it, she knew she was safe now and the door was closed. If they were quiet, then they would be able to keep themselves safe, besides, she didn't even know if these zombies could climb stairs, being on the sixth floor was a great reassurance also.
"I don't mind at all..." she whispered softly "I don't want to see or hear it either, I'd ask for you to put some music on but...I wouldn't want to risk drawing attention to ourselves."
Taking the beer she sat down on the small sofa and cradled it in her hands, she stared down at her feet, and took her back off her shoulder. Lolita didn't know what she was going to do now, now she was safe, she needed to process what had gone on...what was going to happen to her now, she was supposed to have gone home tomorrow, but that wasn't going to happen.
"I can imagine it would have been." she grinned lightly "I just can't believe this is real, it feels like some sort of crazy dream, especially because I ended up leaving the center with you two."
Lolita, understandably, felt the need to get drunk at the moment and she gulped some of the beer down, glad to have something to drink that would also relax her; "Thanks, both of you, for helping me."

| Although Karl had been caught glancing up her skirt and although he blushed at being caught, he didn't stop looking. He could tell that she was appreciating his gaze as it lingered on her tight little ass even with the skirt now pulled down to cover it a little more. To be honest it was a great way to take his mind off all the crazy diseased people running around eating people. He smirked slightly when she looked at him and gave her a little wink. So he was flirting, so what? It would take both their minds off of the terrible situation.
When they were all inside, Karl relaxed properly for the first time in what felt like years. Of course it had only been about twenty minutes ago he was bored out of his mind at a panel that seemed to focus entirely on zombies. How ironic it was that that was what had interrupted said panel,
"Yeah music would be nice..." he admitted before spotting the TV and switching the news on, the volume on low, "Or news. I don't know about you guys but I want to see what people are being told about all of this."
Karl laughed a little bit as he accepted the beer, feeling a little bit giddy already from all the near-death events going on around him. He sipped at his beer happily, enjoying the alcohol content very much,
"It was hell for me before the damn zombies became real. Honestly we spent an hour there and I got one question..." he muttered before smirking a little bit and raising his bottle to Lolita, "Well done Lolita, zombies are here but you still managed to pull. That takes skills."
He drank some more of the beer. It tasted awful to him, all American beers did, but it was alcoholic and, unsurprisingly, that's exactly what he needed right now. He smirked a little bit, "Don't worry about it. Always nice to help a fan."

| Lolita blushed softly when she looked back down and she saw Karl looking at her ass again, so he really was looking at her like that? It was nice that she was being admired, even with all of this going on around her, and perhaps it would be something that would allow her to distract her attention from the god awful things that were happening around her. Flirting was always nice, even if she never really did much of it, considering the men she hung around with were either gay or more interested in gaming consoles.
"Oh that's a good idea actually." she stated with a light smile "We might be able to find out if there's an evactuation or something, or if the military is going to start to try and fight these things off."
For a moment she turned her attention to the TV, looking at the images on screen made her sick, but she kept her ears open in case she heard anything that she might think of as useful, like if they should get out of town in a hurry for example, in lots of films, they mass killed/bombed the cities that were effected.
Although they werent in the panel any more she wondered if she could ask her question now, with a small blush she looked towards Norman and then to Karl, when Karl mentioned she had pulled her cheeks flushed bright red and she stammered a little bit, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, not quite sure what to say in response to that;
"W-well thank you, Karl." she stated, smiling softly at being able to use his first name "Actually I had a question for each of you, uhm, Norman - are you looking forwards to rekindling your on screen brotherly relationship in another Boondock Saints film any time soon? And uhm, Karl, how was it filming Priest, I loved your character, and if you had to give him an actual name, what would it be?"
Lolita took another gulp from her beer and smiled shyly up at Karl, oh, my god, he was flirting with her! Karl Urban was flirting with her! Remain cool Lolita...she thought to herself, and she did, he was a person like anyone else, not something to be obsessed over, or at least, obsessed over so obviously.
