Welcome to the Autobots (Autobots and Femmes)

Optimus Prime had never been accused of being an overly proud bot but one thing he was proud of was his family.

His brothers and sisters the autobots, they were his family and they continued to make him proud everyday with their continued stand in the defence of humanity from the Decepticons. His friends had worked so damned hard that he had decided that it was high time they deserved the time off.

Others within the crowds in this massive hanger were former Neutrals who had decided to band together with the Autobots.

These were some of their newest members but they were also some of the hardest workers, all of them eager to prove themselves now that their old leader had been replaced by Monite.

Of course she technically wasn't a leader since he was the Prime of the Autobots and they were technically Autobots now. But they all still looked to her when they needed advice, when they needed guidance on tasks and when they wanted to bring things to his attention.

But all of them were here in this massive hanger that had snacks and drinks set up for Cybertronians. He raised a can of oil drink,

"My fellow Autobots... you have all worked so very hard against the shackles of oppression and tyranny." he told them calmly before smirking, "Now you deserve your reward. Begin the music!"

Estrella was perhaps one of the shyest Cybertonians in existence.

She didn't much talk to anyone, except those who she had grown close to while she had been growing up - that was Monite and Seraphim. They were almost like her guardians and as such she looked up to them when it came to situations of conflict, and she often followed what they did because she believed it to be the best course of action.

That was why she had joined the Autobots.
That was why she was currently loitering outside of the hangar that the party was being held, she was a little bit too shy to go right in and start to talk to everyone.

There were Mech's here and everything!

Biting her dental plating softly, Estrella walked in quietly, hoping to blend into the scenery. Gripping her cup of oil in her hands rather tightly, Estrella looked around the hangar and blushed as she saw a few Mech's looking at her. It was most likely because they hadn't seen her before, nothing else, she reassured herself.

Optimus was attracting her attention, he was so tall and his speech so deep and commanding it made her blush slightly to even hear him thanking them for the hard work. She was pretty sure he had no idea who she was though. As soon as the music began Estrella's optics widened in panic and she retreated further away from the center of the room, but ended up stepping on someone's foot plating. Squeaking Estrella hopped around and bowed;

"I'm so very sorry!"

Ironhide had been waiting outside for some of the stragglers to come on in. Apparently some of the old Neutral bots and femmes had not really known where it was so Optimus had asked him to provide any assistance to anyone who appeared to be lost of confused about whether they were in the right room. He chuckled a little bit when he noticed that one very shy femme had decided to go in without him having to encourage her,

"Good for you." he muttered to himself as he too stepped inside, looking around as he did so for something to wet his whistle so to speak, "Now where is that bar?"

Moving through the crowds with the ease that only someone as tall and powerfully built as he could do, Ironhide reached the bar in time to listen to Optimus' speech. Grinning a little bit, he clapped loudly in agreement before turning back to the bartender and getting a stronger oil drink for himself so it would affect his systems.

Basically the Cybertronian version of being drunk.

As he drank some of it down, he chewed on a rust-stick and was slightly annoyed when one of the bots in front of him walked back into him. Ironhide gave him a withering look and he immediately left, leaving an empty space at the bar in front of Ironhide.

Monite was already in the hangar when Optimus had given his speech, there was something between them now, a tension that wasn't there before. Since he had seen her spark, Monite thought that there was a link between him and her but she didn't want to speak to Optimus about it right now, he had enough on his plate with the war, and tonight was about having fun.

Perhaps though, after a few heavy drinks of oil she would be more likely to bring up the subject of what she was thinking about the link between the two of them.

Heading to the bar for some of that drink right about now, Monite saw Ironhide standing alone by the bar and smiled at him, aiming for his direction. Although he was no Optimus, he was pleasant in conversation and she found herself warming to the Mech, perhaps as a good friend. He was intimidating though, with the large frame at first.

"Hello there Ironhide, your expression could rust metal my friend!" she laughed happily, ordering a large glass of oil "It is a time to relax and have fun, you should be enjoying yourself, finding a femme to take home dare I say!"

As she leant against the bar, Monite looked over her friends, and spotted Estrella, she looked so lost and alone she beckoned her to come over and stand with the two of them;

"Poor thing, I don't think she's used to all these people in one place, kind of makes me feel bad for inviting her you know? But, she has to meet everyone sometime."

Bumblebee was flitting around the hanger like his namesake. And why? Because he was currently the music of this party. After all, his speakers were hooked up to the walls so right now he looked quite a bit thinner than he usually did, sleeker. Thankfully though they had left his vocal speaker so he was still able to talk.

Well.

What he passed for talking at any rate.

He hummed to himself, taking requests from mechs and femmes as he flitted through the crowd. His playlist was growing every second it seemed. He was just wandering off to another part of the hanger when someone stood on his foot-plating.

Now having and decent sound files for that he just wiggled his head a little bit before waving his hands at the femme,

"Hakuna matata..." he told her with the voice of a Disney character, "It means, no worries."

He grinned at her before holding out a rust stick for her to take,

"Piece of candy?"

Seraphim was currently at the party with the Autobots and she was glad of the chance to let loose because she had been working none stop at integrating weaponry into the slender forms of the Femmes that had come down with the Neutrals. It was harder than it looked because many of them did not want to be 'beefed up' in order to be more useful in a fight and therefore she had to compact the technology but keep it just as powerful.

She had been working alongside the older Autobot weapon creator and he had been making her work a lot easier she had to say. The normally perfectionist inside of her, stepped back to allow him to help her create what needed creating.

As soon as she saw that the bot taking requests for playlists were around, Seraphim smirked and made her way over to him, tapping him on the shoulder plate and taking the rust stick out of his hand with a grin;

"I shall have that, little Estrella shouldn't have too many sweets, it'll rot her sparkling dental plates." Seraphim teased with a wicked smile, honestly she loved winding her up but she did have strong attachments to the kid, she had watched over her as she had grown up from a sparkling and knew she was painfully shy too.

She'd ease up on her tonight.

"Do you mind if I put in a request for some music?" she asked with a smile "I fancy Skrillex, Reptile." Seraphim smirked, before holding out her hand to introduce herself to the young, rather sleek Mech "I'm Seraphim, this is Estrella."

Optimus had to almost fight his way down from his starting point to make it to the bar. It seemed like every single former-Neutral wanted to shake his hand for some reason and he was quickly feeling the need to have a large oil drink to try and shuffle his caring off with the effects it would have on his system.

Reaching the bar at last, he ordered a small but powerful shot of oil before downing it. With that done he relaxed slightly before ordering a large glass of the regular kind to nurse. He paused when he noticed that Ironhide and Monite were resting against the bar beside him and had likely seen him down that shot of oil. His cheek plates heated slightly,

"I er... I get a little nervous when in crowds sometimes." he admitted rather sheepishly before grinning, "I'm glad that the two of you are here. You have done much to deserve such time off in my opinion."

He turned to face Monite for a moment and his mouth went dry. So much to say to her but all of it seemed to have dried up as soon as he had seen her face,

"Monite... it is a pleasure to see you again my dear." he told her honestly with a light heating in his cheek plates again, "I had enjoyed our time together and wondered if..."

He paused before forcing himself to continue despite the cheeks burning,

"If you would like to dance with me."

Estrella had blushed big time when the rather cute Mech had spoken to her. He seemed to have something wrong with his vocal processor though and that made her frown softly because she was sure that such a thing would have been simple to fix. Yet, it seemed as if it was quite the contrary if the medical officer was unable to mend them.

Smiling happily when he had offered her the rust stick, Estrella reached out her small hand to take it...but then it was snatched up by Seraphim.

"Seraphim he was giving it to me..." Estrella stated, disappointed that she was deprived of the treat that she would have very much liked to have sampled from the attractive Mech "There were more over there!"

Pouting softly, Estrella crossed her arms about her chest when Seraphim introduced herself for her as well, honestly how was she ever supposed to get confidence if they kept doing everything for her. At least Monite had left her on her own in order to mingle with the crowds before inviting her over when she had been quite unsuccessful.

"I'm uhm...going to go to the bar and get a drink if either of you want to come with me." she stated with a soft smile, which lit up her light blue optics slightly more.

As she made her way over to the bar she noted that Optimus had joined Monite and the other bot from outside, this made her blush slightly again. There was just something about him she couldn't shake! Yet, she felt for sure that he admired Monite, and Estrella did her best to quash her little butterfly of admiration.

"Good evening." she smiled softly "Thank you for hosting this party for us." Estrella directed to the two mechs, her spark hammering with nervousness at speaking to both of them.

Ironhide chuckled a little bit when Monite came over and teased him about not actually doing any socialising. And he didn't have a leg to stand on as far as protesting went seeing as she was absolutely right. He wasn't socialising at all and he was just enjoying his drink for a moment. But she did have a point. The whole purpose of this little party was a mixer.

Optimus didn't come right out and say it but there were some members of both the autobots and the neutrals who resented the fact that they were now one group. This party was meant to bridge the gap between the groups,

"Yes but in order for me to take a femme home with me I would first have to find one who, a, could stand to be with me, b, I liked and, c, wasn't already bonded." he told her with a little chuckle, "Makes for slim pickings I think... especially passing the first one. Not many femmes want to get cosy with this interface."

Okay so now Ironhide was damned sure that Optimus was crushing hard on Monite. It was rather cute he had to say. Chuckling a little bit, he hummed,

"Great party Prime." he told his leader with a grin, "The femmes seem to be loving you for it if your need for the oil is any indication."

When Estrella, the shy femme that Monite had pointed out, came over with Bumblebee and another femme, he grinned,

"Nice to meet you." he greeted her with a little wave before gesturing to the bar, "Pull up a stool or something. The bar is free too!"

Monite was grinning when she heard that Ironhide thought that he wasn't going to be able to find a femme who fit his three criteria but she thought that he would be pleasantly surprised by what he would find in this gathering. Hopefully he would be able to find that person who he would open up to and actually enjoy spending time with in a sexual and none sexual manner.

It seemed for most of the Mechs it had been a long time.

However all thoughts of setting Ironhide up went out of her mind when she heard Optimus talking to her, his voice still made her spark hammer but even more so now. Now that he knew each thing about her, her most intimate details and had liked what he had seen, Monite was just waiting for something to happen between them.

"Of course I would love to dance with you, Optimus." she smiled brightly "I hope that it will allow us both to blow off a little steam."

Grinning, Monite left her oil on the bar and got ready to go and dance with Optimus now that Estrella was in the safe hands of Seraphim, Bumbles and Ironhide.

"Don't worry, I'll help keep all the femmes off you while we dance. I've been told me glare is pretty fierce, especially when I use my lazers to grate into their paint jobs." she teased as she swayed her way through the crowd to the area they were using for dancing.

Bumblebee pouted a little bit when the pink hair femme, someone he knew to be called Seraphim, took the rust stick he had been offering to Estrella. Of course as soon as Seraphim had one he smirked and slipped another out of the packet and handed it to Estrella with a sly wink of his optics and a grin,

"Sweet talking candyman." he told her with a wink before grinning at Seraphim, "Bad boy, bad boy... whatcha gunna do when they come for you?"

He turned to Seraphim and seemed to think for a moment before grinning,

"Reptile..." he told her with a grin as the song began to play from the speakers around the room, the bass thudding through the room heavily as it did so, "Reptile!"

When Estrella decided that she wanted a drink he grinned a little bit,

"If you like pina colladas..." he joked a little bit as he moved with both her and Seraphim to the bar, just in time for Optimus to be led out to the dancefloor by the sensually walking Monite. He shook his head a little bit, "For sure our pal... is doooooooooooooooooooo'd."

Seraphim grinned when she heard Bumblebee talking, indeed he did seem rather sweet on their little baby Sparkling but she was sure that Estrella had some sort of other problems on her mind and was just focusing on doing well in a crowd and not pulling Mechs. She might be wrong though, and would be glad to be proven so, as it would mean that their little baby were growing up.

Grinning happily she chewed on her rust stick;

"I'll shove those rust sticks up uncomfortable valves, that's what Ill do when I manage to catch up to you, you rapscallion." she joked, gently pushing Bumblebee's shoulder plating as she walked with him to the bar, following in Estrella's footsteps.

She wanted to be able to let her have her space tonight. She needed to do her growing. Yet, Seraphim was going to have her fun too, she just needed to know where the ground lay with the rest of the Mech's around here...perhaps she would sidle off to have some fun with one of the twins, maybe Sideswipe.

Pumping her hands in the air, and swaying her hips to the song, Seraphim whooped happily. Picking up a glass of oil and sipping at it as she continued to bop and sway at the bar, before holding her hand out to the other Mech at the bar;

"I'm Seraphim, pleased to meet you officially Ironhide."

While Optimus didn't appreciate Ironhide's attempts at humour right now, he wouldn't say anything against the mech. He was one of Optimus' closest friends so he knew that the bulky bot was just having a bit of a joke and a laugh. No matter how it sounded, he didn't mean anything by it and that was the important thing,

"You sure do seem to be jealous of me and my issue with... fans." he joked a little bit with Ironhide, "Understandable I suppose."

When Monite said that she would dance with him his spark fluctuated a little bit and he felt the sudden urge to jump up and down with happiness. Weird. He coughed a little bit in an attempt to calm himself down even as he chuckled slightly nervously,

"Thank you for agreeing... I confess to having thought of dancing with you very often." he told her with a smile before the song changed and he immediately closed his optics, "Dear primus... I have no idea how to dance to this sort of thing..."

The shy Estrella and the outspoken Seraphim seemed to appear to throw their two cents in and he smiled a little bit at Estrella,

"I just hope you enjoy yourself." he explained to her before smirking at Seraphim a little, "I have also heard much about you Seraphim. You sounded like a femme version of Ironhide here."

Waving goodbye to the mechs, he moved into the dancefloor with Monite. It was hard not to follow her when her hips were moving like that. His cheeks hot, he moved close to her on the dancefloor,

"This is my first dance with this kind of music... my first time so be gentle please..."

Estrella was feeling a bit of a spare part to be honest.

Nobody was commenting on how nice she looked, she'd changed her paint job and everything for tonight. Nobody was talking to her much about the things that she got up to. She was just fading into the background of conversation and it made her not really want to get involved any more. She would just be drowned out by the voices of more outspoken bots.

Like Seraphim.

Often she enjoyed being around her surrogate guardian because she was close to her but right now, when she was trying to take the spotlight for a few hours, Estrella was being pushed back because she wasn't as outspoken as she was.

"I will, thank you." she murmured softly as she took up a seat by the bar and ran her finger around a ring of oil that was present there, as she sipped at her own glass, just glad of something that might make her feel a little bit better "I'm sure I will enjoy myself." she replied to Optimus even as he walked off to go and dance with Monite.

Sighing a little bit, Estrella wished she could be back in her berth right now, tinkering away. As she sucked on her rust stick, Estrella began to think about all the things that she would be getting up to tomorrow, or tonight, if she left early enough.

Bumblebee could see something that was making his processor whirl sadly. It seemed that Estrella was feeling sad. He didn't want her to feel all sad. This was a party after all and at a party the whole point was to feel better, to feel good and to relax to be away from all of your little problems in your life.

The party itself was never supposed to be the problem itself!

He sat down next to Estrella but away from Ironhide and Seraphim. He paused for a moment before smiling softly at her,

"It's our party we can do what we want to." he told her with a grin, holding a hand out for her to shake, "Bumblebee..."

You wouldn't believe how hard it was to find a quote using the word Bumblebee.

He raised his glass of oil to her as if he was going to make a toast because, to be honest, he was going to make a toast and it would be one she loved. Pausing to think about it, he clicked his fingers to show that he'd got it before touching her glass with his own. Instead of saying anything he made a show of looking around before leaning in close enough to Estrella's audio filters to pick up a whisper,

"I can talk normally... but only shortly..." he told her quietly, "I just wanted to tell you... you have me. I'll make this the best night you have ever had..."

Estrella smiled lightly and took the hand that Bumblebee offered to her, she shook it, before letting her cool metal slip back down out of the grip. She wanted to be able to have a good time but she didn't think that she would be able to now that she was in this sort of melancholy mood. Originally she didn't even want to come to the party in the first place, it was because of Monite and Seraphim she had come.

Now they were stealing the thunder left right and center and the time she had hoped she would shine was swiftly going down the pan.

"Nice to meet you Bumblebee." she smiled slightly "I'm Estrella. I think it's sweet the way that your paintwork matches your name, has it always been this way or, did you change it recently?" Estrella asked, before remembering that he didn't speak so well, and hoping that she wasn't putting too much pressure on him to find suitable audio waves to use.

Raising her glass half heartedly in the toast he was proposing, Estrella smiled, still the same rather sad smile and jumped slightly when he spoke to close to her audio recievers. She wasn't used to having people so close to her.

"Thanks Bumblebee, but, I kind of wanted tonight to be my time to shine. I don't think that's going to happen with everyone's eyes on Monite, and everyone's attention being snapped up by Seraphim." she stated with a small smile "I guess it's been a bit of a failure compared to what I wanted it to be, I even got myself painted and buffed...I might just go home, after this drink."

Ironhide smirked a little bit at Seraphim, nodding to her when she introduced herself,

"Oh I've heard about you Seraphim." he teased her a little bit, "Apparently you are seen as something of a badass. Well as the main badass in this town I just have to ask if you think you're up to the task of being as badass as I am?"

It was a joke of course.

Seeing that Estrella was looking a little bit sad in her talk with Bumblebee, Ironhide hummed a little bit to himself,

"You being mean to this beautiful young femme Bumbles?" he teased the yellow bot, "How can you make such a pretty femme feel so sad man? You been slacking in picking the right audio waves again?"

He smirked a little bit and bowed his head to her with a slight grin,

"Excuse my friend here, he's not too good at compliments on account of his messed up vocal processors." he explained with a little grin before taking her hand and kissing the back of it, "My name is Ironhide, it's a pleasure to meet you Estrella. I think I've seen you tinkering with some things in the past... or am I just imagining that such a skilled femme is just as pretty?"
