I like this island... it's a nice fucking island! (Vaas and Senium)

Vaas very rarely felt jealousy or anything like the emotion since no one on the island had anything that he himself could not have, had already had or had no desire to have in anyway shape or form. He had never been attracted to any of the women around the island so even that route to jealousy had been ignored.

But with the arrival of Senium and Raven something had changed.

During his time with Raven, a great friend of his to be sure, he had noticed that one of his guards would go and spend a lot of time with Senium.

Alone.

This had immediately made both Vaas and Raven rather angry, though he had initially had no idea why it made him so angry. Licking his lips a little bit as he saw Senium coming back from one of her secret chats with his minion (who's name was unimportant right now), he immediately moved over to talk to her,

"Chica! Buenas noches chica!" he greeted her with a smirk as he gestured for her to follow him to the side, "Come... walk with me eh?"

As soon as they were out of sight of the blonde he pouted a little bit,

"Why you no wanna spend time with me chica?" he asked with the pout in place, "Why you ignore me for that son of a putana?"

Senium sighed softly and hugged her arms around her chest as she stepped out of the forest from talking to Carlos, she thought that he was really rather sweet for a pirate and rather well educated as well. Which to be honest surprised her more than it should have done, not all pirates had to be idiots after all, just have some unfortunate circumstances come their way.

Now though he had to prepare to take his duty and she was once again on her own and she looked around the camp to see if there was anything even remotely interesting to do.

Raven was off doing Vaas most likely, and so there were the only other two people she enjoyed talking with gone, but, it seemed as if she was wrong, Vaas was here. And he wanted to speak to her. Oddly, she was satisfied with this, like she was giving a silent finger to Raven for hogging him all the goddamn time.

"Hello Vaas, good evening." she stated softly, with a bow of her head, tonight she was wearing a rather tight pair of black shorts and a vest top with a floating blue blouse over the top of it, her hair was tied up in elaborate plaits pinned in a pattern to the back of her head.

Following him, Senium raised her eyebrow and folded her arms across her chest;

"Well I'm sorry but I have to have someone to talk to while you and Raven go and make crazy with each other." she stated with a little smirk "So really, you are ignoring me, the both of you, not the other way around."

Placing one hand on her hip Senium couldn't help but think it was a bit childish, sure she was irritated that Vaas and Raven spent a lot of time together. This holiday had been for her and Raven but she wouldn't try and guilt her into not hanging out with Vaas seeing as she really did seem to enjoy it.

Carlos!

His fucking name was fucking Carlos! What an asshole name that was for a complete asshole! He deserved to be bent over and fucked up like the asshole that he was! God that guy annoyed the crap out of Vaas! He didn't care about family or money or nothing like that. Fucking asshole Carlos had joined up for the fucking thrill! Making him worse than one of those serial killer fucks that Vaas was hearing so much about on the news.

He grinned a little bit and bowed to Senium though,

"Buenas dias babi!" he greeted with a wicked big grin on his face as he did so. He could not wait to see her reaction to seeing what he had planned for that asshole Carlos for moving in on Senium. He should have know better, "So what you doing with my amigo Carlos eh chica?"

He pouted a little bit more when she turned it around on him instead and blamed his closeness with Raven for all this stress. But the fact was that he wasn't seeing Raven in THAT kind of way even if there was some mutual attraction between the two of them,

"Well I haven't been meaning to do that chica..." he told her with a bigger pout, "But why I can no see Raven so much? All we do is talk... not like we talk, just friend stuff with her!"

He took out a coconut shell that had a mixed alcoholic drink in it and handed it over to Senium as he sipped from his own. It had a bit of kick to it but that was alright,

"But you like my island though si? Me casa right?" He grinned and gestured around him, "Hows this for a nice life eh?"

Senium smiled softly when Vaas called her babi, she definitely had feelings for him but she was trying to distance herself from him because they were eventually going to go home and he was going to have to stay here. Also, she had realised that perhaps dating slightly off kilter people was what was leaving her so unsatisfied in relationships.

Although, alarm bells were flaring when Vaas smiled like that, it never meant anything good.

"Actually we were reading Descarte together on the beach, well I was reading...he enjoys listening to my accent." she stated with a small smile "What have you been doing with my amiga, eh hermano?" she asked with a smirk on her lips.

When Vaas asked why he couldn't see Raven any more, Senium sighed and laughed softly, really he was so hopeless! Yet it was also slightly endearing which made her flare in anger slightly because she was trying not to see him as attractive, and here he was with his big arms being all dangerous and attractive!

"I didn't say you couldn't see her." she stated with a grin "You just cant be all pissy and childish if I find someone to spend time with while you guys do crazy stuff together. I'm not just going to sit around and wait for you to become available, I might as well just go home and leave you two to it." Senium teased gently, although, she could actually do that.

Taking the drink Senium took a small sip and sighed contentedly;

"Yes it is nice enough." she stated with a small smile "I prefer the cold of Mother Russia for a home though, but, it is a lovely beautiful place in its own right."

Vaas had no idea what a "Descarte" was but he already knew that he didn't like the fact that Carlos was the one she was reading it to.

It was probably some kind of smart-person porn or something!

When she said that he mainly just enjoyed listening to her accent his eyes narrowed ever so slightly. Oh he was going to enjoy killing that fucker. How dare he try and hook up with the woman he was trying to get with?! And how very dare he... do a better job than Vaas was doing currently if he was being honest,

"Oh right... Descarte is some head honcho type hermano eh? Smart fucker right?" he asked, kind of confused about why they would read about him before smirking a little bit when she asked what he had been doing with Raven, "Ah me and the loco nina have been hunting down my sister's men... fucking cocksuckers been killing my hermanos!"

When she clarified he found that he still could not agree with her conditions.

He was, after all, currently being rather pissy and childish if he was honest with himself.

But while he was internally disagreeing with what she was saying he also ranted and raved internally about the whole thing being so unfair. God what he wouldn't do to kill Carlos right now with a spork! He coughed a little bit,

"Si si no problemo chica." he assured her before smirking a little bit, "Would you make a move if I were available for you all the time chica?"

He sighed a little bit with a grin,

"Yeah it's good... I like this island... it's a nice fucking island." he admitted before smirking a little bit, "I haven't been there comrade... is cold all the time? That's loco..."

Senium giggled softly and she took out the small book from her bag and handed it to Vaas, it was cute that he didn't know who he was but then again she had never expected him to. Despite the fact he had some very famous sayings in Philosophy, yet again, he didn't look the particularly philosophical type of man.

"He is a philosopher." she stated with a small smile "He philosophised 'I think therefore I am'. Everything around us might not actually be real, like...did you see the film the Matrix? Its kind of like that." Senium explained with a little smile on her lips.

Hunting down people and killing them seemed like it was Raven's type of deal and she was honestly glad that she was having a nice time, she just wished that they could be having a nice time together. It was sad that they hadn't spent much time together on their holiday as of yet but, that could change later on.

"I could always help with that." she stated with a sly smirk "Although... I do charge for my troubles so maybe Raven is best doing it for free."

Senium smiled widely and crossed her arms around her chest, looking at Vaas with a playful expression, it seemed as if he liked her. Honestly she liked him as well. However she didn't want to do anything without Raven's blessing, she didn't want an angry Raven on her back for moving in on her man or something.

"Well now that would depend." she teased with a little laugh "On what Raven has to say. Seems she likes you so, I don't want to be stepping on any toes here, bros before hoes." Senium smirked, unable to keep a straight face while saying something like that.

"Oh comrade, getting all Russian now?" Senium laughed, a light hearted laugh and she found that she had a hard time not smiling whenever she was talking to Vaas, he was amusing and she knew the lines from dealing with Raven all of the time "Maybe I can take you there for a visit one time, you can stay in one of my spare rooms."

A philosopher? They spent all that time together talking about a philosopher? Well now if that didn't sound entirely like a cover story he didn't know what wouldn't! Coming from Carlos he would have instantly dismissed it as a lie but Senium was intelligent enough to actually read that kind of thing if she wanted to so it was harder to dispute that,

"You know the reason he has you read is because the hermano cannot read si?" he teased her a little bit before grinning wider, "Ah the matrix! Si I know of this film! If he was one who helped make ideas used for it then he must be an amusing hermano to know!"

When she said that she could help with his little problem concerning the men of his sister he grinned wider than he ever had done in the conversation. That sounded like a heck of a lot of fun and he told her so,

"Si Chica, that sounds like it could be muy excellente!" he told her with conviction and a savage grin before smirking a little bit, "Chica this island has it's riches... you can be paid if you want to be paid for it chica."

When she crossed her arms over her chest it did wonderful things to her chest that he was very hard pressed to ignore to be honest. Ah so it would depend on whether or not Raven saw him as something more than a friend. He could see that,

"Ah si! The hermano code and all that huh?" he teased with a smirk before laughing, "That mean you think Raven wants a piece of me eh? That's loco chica... loco!"

He smirked a little bit,

"When vodka is involved si!" he joked a little bit before grinning at what she was suggesting. Stay at her home with her? Oh hells yeah! He smirked, "I'd like that chica, I'd like that a lot. Though maybe not in the spare room eh...?"

Senium laughed softly when he said that he would have been a funny person to know. Of course he had died such a long time ago that she had no idea if he was an amusing person to know but, she did enjoy his theories and they were somewhat convincing. At least Vaas knew about that film, it would be helpful if he ever caught her reading philosophy again, it had a little bit of everything in it.

The mention of actually getting paid, and maybe not getting paid mates rates either, Senium's interest was peaked.

This was becoming less of a holiday and more of a works trip out but if she was earning money and was doing so in this setting then why the hell not? Maybe it would get Vaas away from Raven for a few freaking hours.

"Alright then, why don't you make me an offer, and I'll see if you are in the right ball park." she purred softly "I take my work very seriously, and you shouldn't judge books by their covers. Take that into consideration when you make your offer."

Nodding her head Senium was glad that Vaas understood, she thought he had probably once abided by a similar code until he just took what he wanted whenever he wanted it. It was becoming more acceptable though to admit that his devilish look was making her heart pound in her chest every time she caught his eyes.

"I don't think its loco." Senium smirked "I know Raven, and, well you aren't dead yet so that's a really positive sign." she laughed softly.

Deciding she would actually begin to walk somewhere instead of just standing in the middle of nowhere, she made for the small hut that she had been staying in, although Raven had leant her her wand to trick it out inside. No way was she staying in one of these things without a few charms here and there.

"Or maybe you could stay in a hotel and I could stay in my apartment. Pervert." Senium teased with a soft laugh "It might be good for you, when was the last time you had a holiday?"

Vaas could see that the allure of being paid was what was going to get him the services of the killer that was Senium Nex. After all, he would be able to pay incredibly well in both cash and in goods. Specifically in precious stones and metals what with the ruby mines and the gold mines scattered across the island and it's neighbours.

He smirked a little bit, looking forward to the idea of having her working with him to take out as many of the god-damned bastards as possible! It helped that he had been thinking about her helping him for awhile now,

"Well I haven't got numbers of people to kill yet but..." he hummed a little bit before pulling out a lump of solid gold the size of his fist, "This good down payment chica? I can get you half a tonne of gold within three days si?"

He had to admit that he respected her code while at the same time mocking it. Any code that forbid you from taking what you wanted, when you wanted it, was nothing but a waste of time in his opinion. It was one of many reasons why he had no code anymore. It just got in the way of all the fun he was having,

"Si she does seem to be capable of killing lots of men." he admitted with a little smirk before laughing a little bit, "So me being alive? That means she might wanna fuck me?"

Following her aimlessly, Vaas paused a little bit when she asked when the last time he had had a holiday was. He shrugged a little bit,

"Don't think I ever had one chica." he admitted before smirking a little bit and winking at her, "I know I'm a pervert hermano... I just don't find it a bad thing!"

Senium raised her eyebrow when he said that he didn't have exact numbers, well, it wasn't normally her style, normally she liked having the exact figures and things with her but she supposed that this time she could let it slide. It didn't look like Vaas was one for the whole exacting measurements, and oddly she appreciated that for once.

The big fuck off lump of gold he was giving her made her eyes widen a little bit and she took it from his hand gently, tossing it between her own as she assessed it.

"Normally I only take payment in Rubles, but, seeing as you are a friend that sounds good to me." she stated with a smirk, holding her hand out to seal the deal with Vaas, when she did so, she would receive a small tattoo on her neck that was a symbol that she had a contract to fulfil "When do I start?"

Unable to stop herself from laughing loudly at the rather blunt way that Vaas put Raven's intentions, Senium nodded in answer to his question. When it was put like that then it seemed like she was one of the crassest women out there, however, it was a big deal for Raven not to kill someone that had threatened her.

Like, a really big deal.

"There is no might about it." she stated, wiggling her eyebrows cheekily "You keep people alive to get something out of it, don't you? Like ransom money or...or a table. Same with Raven." Senium shrugged with a cheeky grin.

Shaking her head Senium giggled again, the way he had winked at her had made her heart flutter a little and she tried to get her head back into order. Sure he was handsome but they hadn't even spoke to Raven about it yet, and there was a chance she wouldn't be okay with this.

"Wholesome women like me find it a bad thing though." she stated with a shocked expression "Unless they thoroughly expect it of the pervert, which by now, has become the case for you." Senium smirked, opening the door to her shack she left it open in case Vaas wanted to come in, and she sat down on the large sofa in the sitting room area, and rummaged through the mini fridge for some drinks.

The sofa, mini fridge and the rest of the room had not been there before she had arrived. Ah the beauty of charms.

Vaas wasn't stupid and he knew that gold was worth a heck of a lot of money and here he was offering her literally half a tonne of the stuff just to help him kill some crappy little rent-a-goons that his sister had been sending after him in waves. This time he would have the advantage and it would make for a massive body count on his sister's side that she might never be able to fully recover from! It made him smirk in anticipation.

When she asked him when she started he grinned a little bit. Oh so she was eager was she? Well he was more than happy for her to be eager as he was too! He licked his lips a little bit,

"Oh chica you know just what to say to a murdering psychopath!" he told her with a laugh as he drew his pistol and leant it against the side of his face, pointing up, "We start as soon as you are dressed to fight hermano!"

Of course he was beginning to think that the fact that Raven hadn't killed him was something very significant. She obviously thought that it was and that meant that it was, even if only because he desires made it so. He smirked a little bit at the idea,

"Well now that loco chica sounds like she's exactly like me!" he joked a little bit before shaking his head slightly, "But no no... I have my eye on an heilo chica!"

He winked at her again, loving the way she seemed to grow slightly red in the cheeks at hearing and seeing that. Smirking a little bit, he licked his lips again,

"Well then you know what to expect when I see you again soon si?" he asked with a smirk before laughing a little bit, "I take that as a challenge! To do something you can't expect chica! Something very pervert and loco!"

As they entered the room he smirked a little bit as he looked around,

"I like this room... this is a nice fucking room chica..."

Senium should have guessed that she would have been going to kill right now, well, she was going to get ready first into her gear and then she would be ready to go. She would feel a lot safer if he hadn't have snapped her wand but she still had her puppets so everything was going to be fine, besides, she could best anyone in a physical fight...well, almost anyone.

"I should have guessed." she stated with a smirk "Well, I'll just bring as much stuff as I can, give you the maximum body count."

Rummaging through some of her stuff she brought out her assassin black outfit, the tight snug trousers, the polar neck top and her grandfathers resized black coat with his army patches on each side of it. Of course, she would need her boots not these crappy flip flops as well.

Turning to look at Vaas over her shoulder Senium blushed a little bit at his confession that he liked her, well, being aloof seemed to have worked then.

"Opposites attract and all that." she whispered softly "Vy proizvodite vpechatleniye cheloveka ochen' ognya, Chtoby poyti s moim l'da."

(You seem like a very fiery person, to go with my ice.)

The fact that now Vaas was going to be challenged to actually do something more perverse than normal made Senium laugh softly, that would be amusing when she found out what that was going to be. Hopefully it wouldn't make her want to slap him though.

"I shall make sure to be extra viligent then, just in case." she smirked, holding in her laughter "Well thank you Vaas, I would have been able to give you a room like this too if you hadn't have broken my stick thing, maybe you can ask Raven really nicely." Senium winked obviously.

Turning her fingers in the air she motioned to Vaas to turn around as she gathered up her clothes; "Turn around while I get changed, or, you could leave and get yourself ready."

He chuckled a little bit sheepishly and scratched the back of his head in his sheepishness. Of course he had battle and blood on the mind, he often did to be quite frank. But he admitted that this might jar slightly with his desire to show her just how much he did actually like her. Despite what most teenage boys thought, women did not respond well to a person beating or killing someone else; it wasn't cool to most women.

He had a feeling that it would catch Raven's attention for some reason.

He smirked a little bit when she said about achieving maximum body count. She sure did know how to speak right to his heart,

"Oh chica..." he purred happily, "You know just what to say to get me all happy chica! I like I like it very much!"

When he realised he had admitted that he liked her he matched her own blush with a little one of his own, which he desperately tried to cover up. He didn't want people other than Senium to know that he liked her like that. Or that he was actually capable of blushing,

"Si that's right chica!" he agreed before pausing and blinking a little bit, "I have no idea what that means chica... but it sounds like it's being cute!"

Grinning as he thought about ways that he could be even more perverted he paused before pouting a little bit when she laughed at him and then say that she would be extra vigilant. That meant that she would be able to spot his perviness much easier! He smirked a little bit,

"Sorry about the stick thing chica..." he admitted a little bit sheepishly, "I didn't want to break it... but you were being threatening si?"

He paused for a moment, just looking at her, before getting nervous and he jumped around so that he was looking away,

"Fine!" he pouted, "I'll be a good boy as you get changed hermano..."

Senium couldn't help but laugh softly when Vaas purred at her when she mentioned getting the maximum body count, honestly in ways he was more like Raven than she really wanted to admit but she was sure that she would be able to pick them apart. Already she could tell that their pasts were different, their upbringings, even if their surroundings were the same now. What with the German war and the constant war in the Rook Islands.

"Maybe I'll have to talk like that more often." she stated with a wink and a purring tone "Or you know, not, might be a little too close to Raven for my liking but...I think you'll see a new side to me today, I just hope you like it."

Raising her eyebrow Senium could feel her anger pulsing and she crossed her arms around her chest; "What happened to your ability to speak Russian?" she asked, her tone although slightly annoyed was still playful "Or do you only know the violent words or something?" she smirked.

When he said he was sorry about her wand, Senium nodded her head with a gentle smile, she knew that he was sorry for it, but she still liked to tease Vaas about it. He was just so easy to tease after all.

"Don't worry about it, I'll just get a new one when I go home." she smiled widely "No big deal. I just like teasing you about it."

Seeing that despite his threatening behaviour, Vaas was actually quite respectful to women and more so to her as he actually turned around when she asked him too, even getting a little bit flustered. It made her heart flutter slightly as she realised that she might feel for him a little more than she should do, it was only going to lead to upset.

But she couldn't bring herself to stop her feelings.

"Don't you mean Hermana? I'm a girl you know." she stated mockingly as she began to get changed.

Slipping out of her tank top, Senium pulled on her polar neck top, before tugging off her shorts and replacing them with her tight combat pants. Although it was hot she couldn't leave her coat behind and so threw it on over the top, sitting down on her bed she shoved her feet into her boots and tied them up tightly, slipping her knife into the top of one of them for emergencies.

Meticulously she filled the other pockets and holdsters with her knives, her guns and her coat pockets held the two small puppets she could magnify and use if she needed to.

"Alright then, lets go stomp some ass." she laughed softly, loading her rifle and slinging it over her back.

He chuckled a little bit and couldn't help but agree that she should talk like that a lot more. It certainly did make her seem even more alluring to him when she spoke like that truth be told and it seemed to suit him to be perfectly honest. He smirked a little bit and winked back at her,

"You seem to get purring down better than me chica!" he told her honestly with a wink before laughing a little bit, "You could never be totally like Raven... But I am looking forward to seeing more sides of you chica!"

When she asked about his Russian speaking skills he knew it was time to come clean about how he only knew what he knew because of the Russian captives he had held before,

"Well I only learn from Russian prisoners I get..." he admitted a little bit sheepishly, "They did not teach good manners and was mostly just threats and violence chica... was not fun!"

When she said that it was no big deal about her wand he sighed a little bit in relief. It was nice to know that he hadn't broken something irreplaceable or anything like that. Swallowing a little bit thickly he nodded to himself and made a promise to never do anything to put her second stick thing in harms way.

He smirked a little bit when she asked if he meant Hermana because she was a girl. Oh he knew full well that she was a girl. His smirk widened and he licked his lips slightly,

"Oh I know it Hermana..." he purred before winking, "I meant in a philosophical way of course Seni!"

Once she was readied he couldn't help but steal a few glances. Oh she looked about ready to cave in some skulls! Grinning, he began to lead her through the jungle, cutting his way through it with his machete,

"Last time we saw them was round corner..." he admitted before turning to Senium, "You up for this chica?"

Senium was ready to do this, she needed to be totally focused for things to go right and that was going to be hard considering it was Vaas with her and she wasn't just on her own. He had a tendancy to get things a little bit crazy and she knew that she was going to have to be a little bit more careful than normal so he didn't get caught in the crossfire.

Walking through the jungle after Vaas Senium nodded her head, the location of the targets was coming up and so she decided to start channelling her magic already, so that she could attach it to the first person that she saw.

"Of course I am, it feels good to be working again." she murmured softly as she reached a bank of thick undergrowth, crouching behind it she heard the speech of what seemed like the natives from just in the clearing ahead of them.

"Now, prepare to be amazed." Senium smirked, as she peered from the middle of the undergrowth, flicking her wrist, she felt the strings of magic attach themselves to the nearest 'guard' and he became under her control. Now the fun could begin.

Frowning softly as she gently manipulated the man to act as if nothing had changed for a few minutes, she gathered the rest of them in one place, claiming to have heard something in the distance, and, when they were all close enough, she opened fire with the gun that she had on the possessed body, and had him open fire on the closest natives.

In a few moments, they were all dead.

Of course the bullets had attracted more guards from the base Vaas told her about and she used the possessed to turn on them too, until they culled him and he became useless. Dropping the strings, she looked to Vaas and nodded her head, ready to get in the thick of it.

Vaas had to admit that he was rather envious of Senium's job of all things! She killed people and so did he but the difference was that she got paid lots of money to do this while he apparently only did it as a hobby or something, he wasn't too sure. He laughed happily to himself when they began to approach the first collection of enemy soldiers. He cocked his gun,

"Oh this is gunna me fun Hermana!" he joked a little bit as he made his way forwards, ready and willing to cut down the fuckers in his way, "Let's see if my sister is home!"

When she said he should prepare to be amazed he raised an eyebrow and turned to watch her beginning to fight. Of course when she started to control a guard with nothing but her mind his eyes widened. Now that was one scary ass power! Could he even resist such a power? He didn't like the thing about that to be honest.

Laughing as she began to cause chaos with the possessed men she was controlling, Vaas waded out into the thick of things as she continued to use the half-dead man to kill off his former comrades. Vaas himself emptied his clip into waves of enemies and sliced others open with surgical precision. Licking his lips, he marched up to the main building of the temporary base and...

No sister.

"Motherfucker!" he shouted out angrily, burying his machete into the skull of another worthless guard even as more began to swarm around them,

"Chica!" he called out to her as he shot several of the cowardly soldiers, who all cowered from him, "Lets mop up and hit the beach eh?!"

Senium was enjoying this.

She probably should not have been but she had missed work and it allowed her to vent some of her frustration at the situation that she had been placed in beforehand.

Now though she had many of the soldiers dead and she hadn't even straightened herself up from her crouch yet, pulling out her rifle she shouldered it and began to aim with precision at the soldiers that were spilling out of the base. There weren't too many, especially when Vaas was finished with them but she was happy to just mop up the ones that he had left behind.

What she was not expecting however was for one of the soldiers to be able to sneak past them and take refuge in the bushes, Senium saw him but it was too late to do anything about his attack. All she could do was shove herself inbetween him and Vaas, Vaas being made of flesh and highly susceptible to die from such an attack...and Senium, well, not so likely to die.

Grunting as she took the knife to her stomach, Senium watched as she charm made blood pour out from it, but there was no blood in reality. It just wouldn't freak everyone out if she didn't bleed.

Slipping her knife out of her pocket she threw it into the back of the retreating soldier and watched him go down onto his knees. Of course she had made the hit, she could make a hit from here with one eye closed and an arm out of action.

"Yeah, lets get out of here." she murmured softly as she pulled the knife out of her stomach, wandering over to the crawling soldier and plunging it into his head, taking her own knife back at the same time "Bastard." she stated factually at the corpse, before giving it a sharp kick and wandering back to the clearing, covering her wound with one hand.

Vaas couldn't remember the last time he had cut a man's hands off and then watched him bleed to death but he realised that he had missed doing it. Did that make him a bad person?

Yes.

Did he care?

Hell no.

He chuckled and his laughed and he giggled and he snorted. Everything was just so much fun! This was not just violence (and not just M&S violence), this was violence and comedy to him. There was nothing funnier than watching someone's brains splatter a wall to him. Was it wrong? Once again the answer was yes and once again he didn't much care.

When he finally noticed the last of the fuckers it was a tad too late and he was already preparing to take the knife to a non-vital area of his body. But then Senium was in the way and she was taking the knife to her gut. Even though she had already hit the bastard with her knife he felt the need to blow his skull to pieces with his pistol before rushing over to his wounded Russian chica and placing his hand over the wound,

"I thought you were wooden?! Why do you bleed if you are wooden chica?" he asked her frantically as he watched her walking, "No!"

He scooped her up in his arms to keep her from walking and quickly hurried her back to the place where she was staying. As he laid her down on her bed he took out some bandages and paused for a moment before asking,

"Take off your top please Hermana?" he asked her quietly, "I no like to see you hurting..."

Senium was surprised, honestly surprised in the tenderness that Vaas was showing her.

She didn't think that he was capable of doing something like this and then she felt ashamed for even thinking something like that in the first place, Vaas might be unstable and he might have threatened her but...now they were close she couldn't expect that behaviour to stay the same.

When he touched her, Senium gasped softly and her eyes widened in surprise. Normally she didn't really like people touching her, but, it wasn't half bad. His skin was warm from the heat of his gun and rough from the years of survival out here but it was pleasant against her own soft skin, or, smooth wood if you preferred.

"Don't worry." she smiled softly "I'm not actually bleeding...it's just...a spell."

As she was scooped up Senium gasped again and threw her hands around Vaas' neck as he carried her, wincing as it left a rather large hole in her open to all sorts of things to get in there.

Honestly she didn't think she had seen someone move so fast, in a blink of an eye it seemed they were back in her shack and he was fussing about getting her bandages. It made her smile lightly, nobody fussed over her this much, her Grandpapa had been a hard man and very reserved in his affections, and Richard never had much chance to fuss.

"Vaas..." she started before sighing softly and nodding her head "Fine but...don't start freaking out okay?"

Taking off her top she gently tapped her left wrist, and deactivated the charm which made her appear human, or more human than her doll form anyway. So, he could quite clearly see she was not bleeding, but she had a very ragged cut to her stomach which was more like a hole than anything else. Now, she appeared like a very highly airbrushed version of a person, with rather large eyes that seemed constantly startled.

"If you uhm...just go in that box and hand me the black plastic kit in there I can take care of this myself." she murmured, a little ashamed and her eyes refused to go up to meet his.

When she said that she was not actually, bleeding, that it was all just some kind of spell he just kind of looked at her for a moment. He wasn't sure what to feel or even whether or not he should actually believe her. For all he knew it might be that she wanted to be bleeding. In which case he would have to have words before anything else was allowed to happen,

"What kind of fucking spells make you bleed?!" he asked her incredulously before shaking his head, "I don't care if it is a spell... you're getting treated chica and you're gunna like it or lump it but it's happening!"

Moving back to the little shack had been a bit of a blur to be honest. He remembered sprinting and, at one point, kicking an alligator to get here quickly but that last bit might have just been a little mistake on his part. He wasn't all that sure. His foot did hurt but he didn't remember there being any alligator around here.

When she told him not to start freaking out her raised an eyebrow but nodded.

There was a bit of a difference in knowing that she was made out of wood and seeing that she was made out of wood. A big fucking difference to be honest. He coughed a little bit and touched the wood with a finger,

"You don't have to be ashamed of it Hermana..." he told her honestly with a grin, "Own it Hermana... it is only a small part of you..."

Taking the black plastic kit from the box he handed it to her as he made the hole a little smoother for her operating abilities to better fix,

"What you got in the box chica? Can I help?" he asked before he paused and added softly, "Let me help eh?"

Senium smiled softly and she was trying to distract herself from the situation at hand by not talking about it, and talking about spell work seemed to be one of the ways that she could do that successfully. It was really hard for her to be around anyone in this form, let alone someone she had feelings for, even Richard hardly ever saw her in this form.

It just, it still hurt to know this was what she was now. At least she could pretend otherwise when she had her charms up.

"Its just an illusion you know." she smiled gently "Look at your hand there is no blood there. Like Descartes, remember?"

Honestly, Senium really just wanted to do this on her own, she couldn't bare Vaas knowing what she really looked like under all of this and even though he was crazy, he wouldn't want to be with someone, with something that wasn't even fully human. Of course her mind was human, her body was human shaped but she herself was undeniably, inhuman.

When he said it was only a small part of her, Senium chuckled softly;

"Of course." she murmured "Only a small part of me which means...ah just forget it." she sighed standing up and getting off the bed so that she didn't have to look at Vaas, her eyes were unable to show the signs of her upset but her voice still did a pretty good job of it.

Reaching back she took the box and leant against the windowsill of her little shack, this wasn't supposed to be what happened. She was supposed to be strong! Strong and...and goddamn it she was supposed to be over this! But...maybe it was something she was never supposed to get over, maybe she wasn't expected to.

"Thank you." she spoke softly opening the box, trying to distract herself but her shoulders were shaking slightly even then "You know uhm...I'm okay. I can just do it myself."

When she said that it was just an illusion he looked down and he couldn't feel any blood on his hands but he could still see it. By all rights he shouldn't be able to see it apparently but he could. Plain as day. Maybe it was because he was more than slightly mentally disturbed and because she actually meant something to him? But for whatever reason, he could actually see the blood still on his hands and it was freaking scary to be honest.

He swallowed a little bit and nodded, deciding not to tell her that he could still see her blood all over his hands,

"Of course... I remember." he told her with a small smile, trying to avoid flinching as he once again saw his own hands, "Well at least I don't have to worry about giving you more blood... I no like the needles involved."

He could tell that a large part of her wanted to do this alone but to be honest he could tell there was some part of him that saw that she didn't want to go through this alone. Reaching out, he placed a comforting hand on her shoulder as he looked into her eyes, well aware that she would be crying if she wasn't in her non-illusioned form,

"You think... there fort you are and all that right?" he told her with a soft smile as both hands now came to rest gently on her shoulders, "Well you think... there for you're a good human being. A good person and a person in every sense that matters... comprende chica?"

Sittind down beside her, he reached out and gave her hand a gently squeeze,

"I'm here for you chica." he reminded her softly, "You don't need to hide behind things with me chica... you know that right?"

Senium didn't know if she could trust Vaas.

He had seen the side of her she hadn't even let Raven see yet and she didn't know how she felt about him, yet, she obviously cared enough about him to step in front of that knife in the first place. So he couldn't mean nothing to her.

The way that he placed his hands on both of her shoulders, despite them shaking softly, made Senium feel all the more confused and all the more upset. Vaas was being so different with her now and it made her just so confused and she wondered, why? Why was he being like this with her? He was comforting her and reassuring her...

Yet she couldn't bring herself to put conviction and belief into his words.

"You don't want to hear all about me, you have your own problems." she stated with a small laugh and smile "You know, I'll be fine in the end, I always am."

Gently she opened the box to reveal some spare magical wood she had made previously in case she got damaged, and, carefully she trimmed it down to the shape and size of her cut and placed it softly into place, like a jigsaw piece. It fitted in, the sides glowed white for a few moments, before it appeared that she didn't have anything wrong with her at all.

As soon as that happened, Senium reactivated her charm and appeared back as a normal human again, although her cheeks and chin were damp with tears, she swiftly wiped them away and coughed to clear her throat.

"No," she admitted with a small sigh "I need to hide behind them for me. Just like...Raven needs to hide behind her razors and her wraiths. Just like you hide your own demons. We all have one, I suppose. I'm just not ready for you to know about mine, yet."

Smiling gently Senium wiped at her eyes again and coughed; "So uhm, the beach? Vodka and the beach...sounds...sounds good." she stated as a weak attempt at distraction and changing the topic.
