Mika had comforted Starling throughout the night, even when she had woken up crying from nightmares and dreams about what had happened. And she had done that several times over the course of the night. It was heart wrenching to see her crying her eyes out and there was one man who was to blame almost entirely and that was Larten Crepsley.
The man had broken her heart by sleeping with her then buggering off for no good reason only to come back with Arra Sails, an old flame, in tow. Then the bastard had cheated on Starling with Arra by sleeping with the damned woman. When Starling had sought out satisfaction in battle with Arra, and won, Larten was the one who accussed her of being vicious, of being a monster, a freak and Desmond Tiny's pet.
The end result was that Mika had just left a sleeping, emotionally devastated, woman in her room as he made his way to the mess hall area.
As he entered the chatter around the door seemed to dim a little bit and it was not hard to understand why. Mika was not someone who got angry a lot of the time but he had his fair share of angry moments. But he was also a Vampire Prince and so had to act calm even when he was angry. He managed to do this often much better than Arrow or Paris ever could. But right now his anger was showing on his face, it was showing in the way his teeth were bared and it was showing in the way that he was clenching and unclenching his fists repeatedly.
Spotting Crepsley taking a small tray to a table to eat, Mika made his move. Marching up to Crepsley, he waited for the opening he needed as he approached. Seeing him, Crepsley opened his mouth to greet him and Mika struck.
Slamming a fist right into Crepsley's gut, forcing the wind out of the man as he bent over forwards. Yanking the metal tray from his former rival's hands, Mika smacked it into the side of Crepsley's head as hard as he could, cutting Crepsley's skin even with the blunt edge of the tray and sending him to the ground. Crepsley fell to his hands and knees to try and catch his breath but Mika was having none of it. With a vicious snarl he charged, kicking Crepsley as hard as he could in the side of the ribcage. Crepsley actually left the ground and slammed into one of the stone tables. Mika spat at Crepsley before looking around at the stunned vampires,
"Larten Crepsley... is a traitor to one of our most sacred laws!" he declared loudly, getting everyone talking, "This man who styles himself a hero... has almost driven someone of great importance from this mountain!"
Sensing Crepsley's desperate attack from behind him, Mika ducked under the attack and let Crepsley's hard and forearm go past his face before he acted. Holding Crepsley's wrist with his left hand he pulled Crepsley forwards before slamming his right palm into the other man's elbow, snapping it completely and leaving Crepsley's left arm useless from the elbow down. Crepsley screamed in pain before Mika hauled him over his shoulder, slamming him onto the ground on his back. Mika ground his foot into Crepsley's throat before addressing the vampires again,
"Lilith Starling was created by Desmond Tiny and she has the ability... to carry a child! She can have vampire children!" he declared, getting shouts and gasps from the assembled crowd, "She came here because she thought that the 'great' Larten Crepsley would be the best candidate for her affections and to be father of her children..."
Putting more pressure down on his foot, Mika watched as Crepsley helpless clutched at his foot in an attempt to get more space to breathe,
"And because of his affraid with Arra Sails, Starling sought satisfaction in a duel..." he looked directly down into Crepsley's eyes, "A duel that cost her the life of her unborn child."
Now there was a general uproar of noise. There were calls for Arra's immediate execution, along with Crepsley's as well. Seeing that his work was done for now, Mika smirked faintly before stamping down on Crepsley's face, breaking his nose (and cheek bone probably) under his heel in a splash of blood.
Leaving Crepsley there at the mercy of the assembled vampires, he flitted his way back to Starling's room. Peaking round the door he found that she had yet to wake up. Smiling a little bit, he brought a wine glass and bottle of fresh blood with him as he locked the doors. He waved the glass under her nose before placing it on the bedside table as she lazily awoke,
"Breakfast in bed my dear." he told her, "I hope you don't mind that I got started on a few things without you."
