| Darcie had hardly had time to process what was going on with her when she had been whisked out in a date with Richard, they were off to one of her favourite bars so that wasn't what was unnerving her, it must be the fact that right now you had no clue about the man in front of you but you had feelings for him like nobody else.
There just had to be a downside!
More than likely she thought, shed find it when it was too late, or it would be something do surreal she would never have thought of it in a million years. Pouting a little as they walked towards her bar she looked up at Richard from under her eyelashes. There was something different about him now.
When Arthur had appeared he had changed his mood, he had shifted to someone who wasn't the light and playfully teasing man she was comfortable with. Oddly...that wasn't a problem. Darcie found herself rather liking this new attractive dark side although she couldn't explain why she did. He reminded her of the brooding antiheroes in British classics.
Biting her lip a little she decided to break the silence between them, and Darcie asked;
"So what are you doing this close to Harvard Richard?" Darcie asked blushing at using his first name for the first time "You don't live around here do you?"

| Richard as still seething a little bit at the audacity of that "Arthur" man from the store trying to worm his way into Darcie's heart like that. How dare he try such a thing?! Darcie was his! Darcie belonged to Richard and he would make sure that not only did Arthur know that but that Darcie knew, and lovingly accepted it, too. He probably glared at a few men in the bar a bit too much as several of them, who had been making a beeline for Darcie for the singular purpose of flirting with her.
He could see that she wasn't exactly against his "new" brooding attitude. That was good; it meant that he could get his way into her mind rather quickly and she would come to accept him as he master even faster. When she asked what he was doing this close to Harvard he looked dead into her eyes with his own, intense, orbs,
"I'll be blunt Darcie... I stayed in Harvard because I wanted to see you again." he told her honestly with a small smirk, "I bought myself a place to stay and I went looking for you because I needed to see you again. I needed to speak to you again."
He was being totally honest with her here and he would continue to be. There could be no lies in a relationship. Seeing that she might needed a bit of loosening up before they got onto what he wanted (who he wanted) he moved behind her,
"How about I get us some drinks?" he said huskily into her ear from behind, "What's your pleasure then my dear?"

| Darcie was a little bit awed when he managed to keep them rather free of people trying to talk to them as they entered the bar, it was one of her favourite places and so some of the regulars had come up to say hello to her, but, they all seemed to veer off with nothing but a smile even though they had been coming her way. It was rather odd really when she thought about it.
Although this was swiftly forgotten when Richard turned to her and said that he had come all this way to see her again, that was something that she had hoped would be the case but she had never thought that it would be, she thought that he would have been here for some new solar panel investment opportunity underneath it all. But it made her feel special, something she hadn't often felt when it came to men and romance, and so she was unable to stop herself from smiling shyly.
"You came all this way to see me again?" she asked with a soft smile "I guess I must have done a great interview for you then, I'm glad I managed to be so gentle with your first interviewing." Darcie laughed happily, running her hands through her hair to push it back from her face.
Sitting down in one of the empty booths, it was quite empty in the bar because it was a weekday night and there weren't many people out and about at this time. Thankfully, Darcie thought, she didn't want any drunken people coming over and ruining what she had a nervous feeling would be quite an important and intense conversation.
"Uhm...I'll have an amaretto and coke please, I'll pay you back for it I promise." she added with a little grin.

| Richard could tell that she enjoyed the fact that he had stayed in Harvard to be closer to her. It was the truth after all and he was glad that she wasn't about to hold it against him or anything silly like that. He smirked a little bit. It was all in her eyes. Those soft, soft, eyes. He was able to tell because, once again, his gaze was locked with her own. His intense gaze allowed him to read the emotions that passed through her eyes without her knowing about it.
When she suggested that it might have been because she had done a good interview for his first time he smirked and shook his head ever so slightly. He leant forwards, leaning on the table that was between them in this little booth as his eyes stared so intensely into hers,
"Of course I came all this way for you Darcie. I would travel any distance to be with you again after all... you're simply amazing after all." he told her with a small smirk before winking at her and adding huskily, "For the future... our encounters can be much rougher and I'll love them all even more for it."
Taking her order with a nod, he bought the drink from the bar rather quickly since they didn't seem to be anyone else around wanting drinks. After he had been handed the drinks he grinned a little bit before shaking his handing her's over to her with a chuckle,
"Oh no no. I insist." he told her happily before smirking again, "No woman of mine will pay for her drinks when I'm around!"
He sat down on the same side of the booth as her so that they were rather close up against each other. Turning to look into her eyes, he gently reached out and stroked some hair out of her eyes,
"I'm going to be blunt Darcie... I want you so very badly." he admitted, his voice huskily as he moved just an inch closer, "And I want to be with you... in a unique way. Would this be something you were interested in?"

| Darcie was a little overwhelmed here, a sexy millionaire had decided that he wanted to come all the way out here to be with her because he thought she was amazing? If it wasn't for the burning look in his eyes then she wouldn't have believed him, but there was something about that look, that deep burning gaze that made her believe that what he said was true. He had come here to see her because he wanted to, and he thought she was amazing for god knows what reason.
"Simply amazing? But...you barely know me Richard." she stated with a soft blush "I am not really that amazing when it comes down to it you know..." the idea that their future encounters could be much rougher sent her mind reeling with all sorts of ideas that she knew she probably shouldn't be thinking...very inappropriate things.
Deciding she needed this dutch courage for the conversation ahead, Darcie bit her lip softly and she wanted to be able to be brave and participate in it...not actually just be a blushing bumbling idiot all night. What Darcie did pick up on though was the idea that he had called her his own, 'no woman of mine' for some unknown reason it made her smile to herself, it felt like she had been given a warm hug.
When he came and sat back beside her Darcie blushed softly and her gaze became shy when Richard brushed some hair out of her eyes, looking at her with those intense eyes again;
"You...you want to be with me?" she asked, rather amazed "I...in an unique way? W-whats so unique about it? Do...you like, only do long distance relationships with all your work or something like that?" Darcie asked, a little bit confused.

| Richard had wanted her to be his from the first time he had seen her. It was true, what she said about him barely knowing her. Honestly, he barely knew her at all but there was nothing wrong with that in his mind. He knew what he needed to know and what he needed to know was what his gut made of her, what his instincts said about her as a person. His instincts were very clear, as was his heart. that she was the one for him and that he should let no one else (like the prick Arthur) stand in his way. He smirked a little bit and shook his head a little bit,
"Yes, simply amazing." he told her happily before shaking his head a little bit to show that he didn't agree with her denials. He smirked a little bit when he noticed that she had zoned out there for a moment. Deciding to be a bit more forward he nodded, "Yes. The way you were thinking about it? Yes I meant it in that way... is that a bad thing to you my dear?"
While she was trying her hardest not to blush (he guessed since she seemed to dislike the way she was blushing often), he smirked a little bit to himself and took a drink of his own alcoholic mixer; coke and Jack Daniel's. He didn't need any Dutch courage for any other meeting like this but this one was different. He felt that he needed the alcohol to keep his nerves down.
Seeing her blushing even more, and that she seemed to really enjoy looking into his eyes, Richard smirked ever so slightly. When she guessed about the nature of the relationship he smirked slightly before sliding a form over to her, across the desk. It was a form saying that she would become the submissive and he the dominant in their relationship,
"I do indeed want to be with you and as for the unique way...?" he nodded slightly to the bundle of forms he had given her, outlining what it would be to be his woman like that, "Read and you will learn my dear."

| Darcie felt her heart in her throat, this was all so sudden she had only met the man a week ago and this was only the second time she had seen him how on earth was he making these decisions, she had been around men for much longer than this and they had never asked her out before, and now...now he had seen her twice and wanted to be with her in such an intense way.
Something wasn't siting right with her though...a part of her subconscious reared it's head and she tried to slap it down like a puppy but she wasn't getting anywhere with that. It was that forbidden fruit, she wanted it, but she didn't know what the effects of her having it would be. Would it be worth it to get to know this seemingly brilliant man in front of her?
Her mouth popped open and she gaped at Richard; "You want to be with me...like that?" she all but squeaked "I don't know about that...is...is that all you want?"
As she was handed some big length of form, Darcie was more than a little surprised, and it showed in her eyes, they had been molten and wanting to know what this was, but when a big wedge of paper was given to her she was rather struck down in her prime. Blinking she looked at it, allowing herself to pick it up and look through the first page a little nervously.
Immediately her cheeks flushed and she put it back down on the table.
"No way!" she squeaked "Are you serious?!"

| Richard was aware that he might have been going a bit fast but that was just how he worked, it was how his mind worked and he was damned sure that was how he wanted their relationship to work. He wanted it to be controlled by him, right down to the pace that it took. He wanted her and everything, from his brain to his heart, was telling him that this was a good thing, that the speed they were going at was the perfect type of speed.
He wanted to entice her so that she would at least be able to look at him with an open mind when she heard his proposal in terms of how their relationship would work. It would need her to be open minded about it, the proposal might seem a bit odd to someone as innocent as she was. He nodded a little bit when she asked if he wanted her like that,
"Of course I would love to have you like that!" he told her with a wink before shaking his head, "No it's not all about that at all don't worry. While it might end up being a very physical relationship, that doesn't make it anything less than a full relationship."
When she immediately rejected the whole thing, blushing furiously the whole time, he nodded a little bit as he thought about what this could possibly mean. Deciding that he had best answer, he nodded a little bit in agreement,
"Yes I am quite serious." he told her honestly before leaning forwards, looking into her eyes the whole time he was doing so, "What part are you objecting to?"

| Darcie had never even done anything that could be described as physical before and she didn't know if she would be up for something like this, looking through the contract again, very cautiously like it was about to reach up and bite her. The fact it was a contract for one made everything seem so cold and impersonal like it was some sort of business meeting not him asking her out...it wasn't really how she thought that her boyfriend would ask her to be his girl...a shiny contract.
Hearing it might be a really physical relationship Darcie sighed a little bit, really physical wasn't really her thing, she hadn't done anything like this before and reading all this was just too much, some of these things she had never heard of before and some of them she had and wished she hadn't!
"It doesn't seem to have any relationship-y details in here...to me anyway." she stated with a soft blush "It's just...all about that."
When he asked her what part she was objecting to, Darcie looked up at Richard with her mouth agape, to be honest with herself she was objecting with all of it! Her subconscious was shaking her fist at Richard for making her feel like some cheap whore signing her sexuality away to some man she didn't even know that much about on the second time of meeting him!
"All of it!" she squeaked "I mean, why are you showing me things like 'Hard and Soft Limits'! I don't even know what some of this means and...and..." Darcie explained, gesturing with her hands when her words failed her before taking a long sip of her drink "I just don't get it...do you do this with all your girlfriends? Is this your way of asking me out or what...what is this? Would I just be a...a 'submissive'? Or..."

| Richard knew that Darcie was having serious doubts about the whole thing. In hindsight it was perhaps a bit too soon to drop the contract on top of her like that. But in the end he was sure that she would come around to him and this way of having a relationship. This was, after all, the only way he knew how to have a relationship and he was not about to let it slip through his fingers.
Seeing where she was coming from, he nodded a little bit and even his expression softened a little bit. To be honest he had thought long and hard about having a 'normal' relationship with her but in the end he had to fall back to this. He didn't know what to do when it came to 'normal' relationships seeing as he had never had one to begin with,
"Yes well the contract is negotiable and I would like for us to have some couple-like moments but I..." he coughed a little bit before finishing, "I don't know what it's like to have a normal relationship like that. Due to... certain factors, I was socialised as a teenager to view this as normal, this as acceptable."
He could see that she wasn't getting any calmer so he decided that he needed to speak with her to let her know that it was not only negotiable but that it was going to start off slowly. Holding his hands up in a placating manner, he tried to urge her to calm down,
"Don't worry, you'll have as much time as you need to make the decision." he assured her gently, "I'm not here to push you into signing the contract. All I want you to do is know my intentions and to think them through. Feel free to ask me any questions about other sticking points."

| Darcie just felt like crying right now, the first time she met a man she actually had feelings for and he was some sort of freaky BDSM monster who wanted to hurt her, just look at all these things he wanted to do, the list was endless and to be honest a little scary especially when the word 'fisting' was mentioned. Anything that involved putting something that big into something that small...was just...boggling.
Why would he even think this was like...okay? And there it was...he had been brought up thinking this was normal and acceptable, what sort of twisted weirdo had told him that?! Her thoughts were in bits everywhere, if she didn't sign this contract she didn't get to be with Richard, and...she wanted to be with Richard, but he didn't want to be with her unless it was in this horrible strange way.
"What kind of crowd did you hang out with at college?" she asked bewildered "This is far from normal I can assure you. Normally you go up to someone and ask them to be your girlfriend, they say yes or no, and then you go from there. Not...slap a big scary contract in front of her!"
Sighing Darcie put her head on the table and groaned; "Man what a buzzkill."
She was so excited to go on this date and now she just felt like she was some sort of business venture that he wanted to secure as soon as possible, honestly she didn't know what to feel. Darcie was so confused, she wanted him, but did she want him at this cost? She didn't know, because she didn't know him well enough!
"I'll be asking you about the whole contract then." she sighed again "You don't know anything about my sexual life and...why did you think I would say yes to something like this...and why do you have to word it so coldly...it feels so impersonal..." Darcie admitted, deciding sharing her feelings was the best way about this "I guess I'll take it home with me to read, but I should go now."

| Richard sighed a little bit as he pulled what was left of his fragile heart back into himself. Her answer was draining him after all. He had put his heart out on the line she and she had just spat on it because he had suggested something that she believed to be abnormal. Was this his destiny? To have people who were willing to sleep with him but not being able to commit to him long term? To live without the woman he could tell he had strong feelings for?
She hated the contract.
She hated the way he had presented it.
She hated the contents too.
She had almost torn his heart out by systematically destroyed the planning that he had put into this in order for her to enjoy it. In the end he wasn't sure what he should be doing. But on the other hand she said that she wanted to take the contract and read through it better. Soundlessly, he stood up from his chair and handed her the contract,
"I'm sorry for springing all of this onto you at once. You don't have to reply in the near future; just tell me when you're ready. I... I hope that we can be together regardless of your reservations about this contract and the nature of our relationship. I hope that you have a safe journey home."
