Down in the Hold (Sylar and Tiger)

Sylar and his allies had managed to track down another of the Company's endeavours... they were transporting Specials in the hold of a shipping freighter. The ship was massive, old and decaying by the time they arrived.

By the time the last of the 'covert' guards lay dead the smell of fresh blood was throughout the cargo hold.

But the smell of old blood and old death stank even worse than the new ones and it quickly became apparent that there had been a lot of Specials down here. They were all packed into cages designed to combat their powers.

Of course no one seemed to have taken command of the Company since Bennett, his boss and other management staff lay dead due to their efforts.

Shaking his head, Sylar turned to Alice,

"Not one of them is alive." he told her before frowning as Flint came down to them, "What is it?"

"Well I reckon we found something..." he told him, handing over a file, "Check te bottom line yeah?"

Sylar raised an eyebrow. The form was an order from the current head of the Company he could see and it was signed... Angela Petrelli.

Petrelli.

Sylar smirked darkly and turned to Alice,

"Come with me Alice... we have planning to do." he instructed her as he led her up towards the bridge of the ship, "Tell me Alice... would you think a Special would ever order the death, detention and tracking of other Specials?"

Alice had been ready to kick some ass and take some names to free the other specials from their confines in the shipping container, she had come to accept that what she had done to Noah Bennett was horrible and she shouldn't probably do that again. He had deserved it though, and so did everyone who punished special people for simply being - rounding them up and shoving them away like they couldn't do anything else with them!

It was what had motivated her so much to find and kill every single guard within the surrounding area of the shipping container.

Of course when they had opened the container and found...nothing, and nobody, Alice was confounded and she looked at the other members of the group incredulously. She couldn't believe that they would have moved them without them being able to see it, and they had been here as of their information they got only a day or so ago.

"What is it?" she asked softly, when she heard Flint coming to Sylar with information "Does it say who did this? What happened here?"

The dark smirk on Sylars face told her that this was nothing good, biting her lip softly Alice stepped towards him and walked by his side towards the end of the ship. The very information that someone like them would order the deaths of more special people just confounded her! Why...how?! She just didn't understand.

"What...?" she asked, her voice wavering slightly "W-well no I wouldn't think someone special would do that at all, it doesn't make any sense! We should be sticking together right, instead of pulling apart. Even if we do pull apart killing others just because they are special is just wrong! Its like Hitler, and Stalin all over again."

Sylar had never held much love for the Petrelli family even before he found out he was a Special. They had been one of the richest families in all of New York and it was rumoured that a lot of that money came from shady dealings. But after he discovered he was Special? Peter Fucking Petrelli lead the charge against him in Kirby Plaza with his Flying Fucking Brother Nathan.

Was it too much of a stretch to assume that their mother Angela was also a Special? It seemed rather convenient that the two brothers were Specials if there was no history of it in the family. To be fair it would help to explain how they got so much money too. After all, if they had powers and no one knew about them then people would automatically assume foul play instead.

When they reached the bridge, Sylar set the file down on the nearby navigation table and moved over to the Captain's wheel. He chuckled a little bit,

"Angela Petrelli... one of the richest women in New York." He told her quietly, "Married to the late Arthur Petrelli and mother to my greatest annoyance, Peter, and capital hill's new golden boy, Nathan."

He turned to Alice and glared at the document,

"And she is a traitor!" he declared, "Both of her sons have powers... Peter has the ability to have several, like I do. Both of them having strong powers? Their mother must have one... and she used it to become the head of the Company."

Shaking his head a little bit, he looked out across the sea,

"Her and her husband built their empire, their fortune, on having powers no one else had. So what would happen if others showed up with powers? Others could make the same fortunes. They would be cast down in the social ladder and... and they would do anything to protect that I say."

Opening the door to the bridge of the ship, Alice stepped forwards and watched what Sylar was doing, he seemed to be having a little mess around with the controls and that was fine by her. She was still trying to take in everything that had happened in the last few minutes, she had come here ready to fight and then there had been nothing, only further betrayal which made her blood boil inside of her veins.

If she was a lesser person, the walls of the ship might be crumpling around her in her anger however she managed to control her power and merely frowned to convey her annoyance at the situation.

"Angela Petrelli?" she asked, her mouth popped open and she shook her head "I've heard of the Petrelli family but...it seems as if they are a very large thorn in your side Sylar, perhaps it would be best to take the charge to the mother, if she is the new boss of the company it would take another link in the chain out."

Nodding her head Alice smiled a very small smile;

"It makes sense, and given what you have said I wouldn't see them being above making sure that their children were born with powers." she hummed.

Running her hand through her short bob as she hopped up onto one of the metal tables, just trying to take this, and its implications in which was hard to do. Things were not looking good for the specials on the opposite side to the company, if they had someone in Government then it would be hard on a legal side to get anywhere!

"Given the fact they have someone in Government, even if we did manage to do something about the Company, we'd have another enemy on our tails right away...but what do you think our next move should be? We should try and take out the Petrelli's but, the most dangerous should go first. Use our element of surprise to take him out, leaving the weaker ones to deal with later."

Sylar sighed a little bit when he thought about the damned Petrelli family. Honestly the only person he hated more than them had been Noah Bennett. And that little Japanese man who had stabbed him had been annoying as hell too. Not to mention he was wasting one of the most powerful powers that Sylar had ever heard of.

The ability to stop time.

To teleport.

To travel through time itself.

Growling in annoyance, he nodded,

"As much as I would love to kill the brothers two first... we must focus on Angela." he agreed, "She is the more powerful of the three of them. She has the Company and through her son, Nathan, she has the ear of the president of the United States. Perhaps soon... her son will be the president."

As he finished looking at the navigation device, he paused when one destination was highlighted on the screen. Ironically enough it was New York. He paused for a moment before shaking his head a little bit,

"We can't go after Peter first..." he muttered, "The fool has dropped off the radar somehow. Even the Company wasn't sure where he had went but they assumed that their Mind Wiper got to him and dumped him somewhere. He's worthless now."

He shook his head,

"No... we strike at Angela. In New York." he told her before smirking and deciding to joke, "Think you throwing an shipping tanker at her house would get her?"

Alice nodded her head when she heard that Sylar thought they should go and target Angela Petrelli first, she thought that might be the best course of action herself actually. It would just mean that the Company, their main threat was less powerful than it had been before and they were getting closer to knocking out everyone who was going to keep them from their freedom.

Angela Petrelli would pay for ending the lives of their fellow specials, and for doing so unfairly. They had not committed murders, they had not killed and even if they had it was not on purpose and so, the eye for an eye, tooth of a tooth mentality wasn't even applicable here.

"Alright, I agree with you, the sooner we take out the key members of the company the better, I suggest that we take them out in order of age then, Angela, then Nathan and then Peter. Nathan can have any Government organisation looking out for us in a matter of seconds - he has too much influence to leave him be for too long." she stated, with a gentle hum.

Tapping her nose softly, as she thought, Alice couldn't help but laugh at the idea of slamming a shipping container through Angela's house. It would be amusing she would say however it probably wasn't the best way to kill her, it was too public and far too likely to draw attention to themselves in respect of public organisations.

"Despite that being an amusing idea, I think that we would be better doing something a little less high profile." she smirked "Do you think that we should move right now, or shall we simply enjoy being free for a little while? I think that the others might like that idea, and I would too." Alice asked, tentatively putting forth the idea.

Sylar knew exactly what it was like to be a Special who killed other Specials, which was why some might call his anger at Angela Petrelli rather hypercritical. But to be honest he didn't see it that way. He killed other Specials because that was what his power demanded of him. The Hunger that came with his powers was too great to be ignored and whenever he fed the Hunger he felt this amazing feeling wash over him for hours.

He was a product of nature, his evil was the evil that nature had within in. Sylar held no delusions. In the classical sense of the word he was as evil as they came. But his evil was natural evil. He had no control of it.

Angela Petrelli was as evil as he was but he doubted it was due to anything other than her own greed, perhaps from a misplaced sense of self-righteousness.

"Yes I think that is the way to go about it." he agreed with a nod, "With Angela gone the Company will fall. With Nathan gone the government will not come for us. Peter will either stay lost or he will come at us angry. Stupid."

He laughed a little bit. The idea of throwing a tanker through the Petrelli mansion was something that he could really get behind but he understood that it was a bit of a bad idea. Sighing a little bit, he shook his head a little bit,

"So... you guys want us to slow down huh?" he mused, "Go to Disneyland or something? Enjoy being free you said..."

There were not free.

Sylar knew that Nathan had probably already alerted the FBI and the CIA about them all. But he still smiled a little bit,

"Yeah... yeah sure we can do with some time off. If nothing else we plan for Angela."
